Ole Miss players and coaches have been swarmed with phone calls, texts and social media messages congratulating them on making it this far. But their focus has now shifted to the business at hand in Omaha.

              Defense, pitching shake off blunders, help Rebs break through

              LAFAYETTE, La. — Before this season, OIe Miss coach Mike Bianco had led four different Ole Miss teams to an NCAA super regional. None of them got to the College World Series.

              That’s not the case any more and it’s because the 2014 Rebels did what they had to do to overcome adversity and mistakes. They did it again Monday in a 10-4 victory over Louisiana-Lafayette that earned them a trip to the CWS. (June 10, 2014, Page 6)
