Grove stays free

Once the rumor the University of Mississippi might start charging rent for people to set up tents in the Grove on game days hit the social networking scene, it spread like wildfire.
On Tuesday, the university’s Game Day Committee extinguished that fire when it unanimously voted not to charge fees for tailgating during the upcoming 2010 Rebel football season. (April 14, 2010, Page 1A)

    No. 11 Rebs set to host UT

    The No. 11 Ole Miss Rebels baseball team (20-6 overall, 4-2 SEC) will look to take their third-straight SEC series this weekend when they host Tennessee (13-13, 0-6) for a three-game series beginning today at 6:30 p.m. (April 2, 2010, Page 6A)

        White’s big night paces Rebs in win

        Terrico White scored 27 points in Ole Miss’ win over Troy in NIT action Wednesday night.                   Rebels add 22 on National Signing Day

                  OLE MISS FOOTBALL — A strong final push turned into an outstanding National Signing Day for the Ole Miss football program and Houston Nutt Wednesday. Ole Miss was able to sign some important players for the 2010 class and, in the process, vault up the national recruiting rankings. The Rebels signed 22 new players in addition to two junior college players the team signed in December. (February 6, 2010, Page 6)
