Ole Miss’ Austin Wright turned in a solid performance on the mound Sunday and the offense kicked into gear as Rebels shut out Tennessee 8-0 to claim the three-game series. As part of Grove Bowl Week festivities, the Chucky Mullins Courage Award banquet has been set for April 14 at 7 p.m. at the Indoor Practice Facility on the Ole Miss campus. Christian Helsel has had enough of the snow.
Living in Altoona, Penn., Helsel has seen his fair share of snow. So much so that when TCU announced in November that it was joining the Big East — effective July 1, 2012 — he de-committed from the Horned Frogs and immediately called Ole Miss recruiting coordinator Carl Lafferty to let him know he was interested in the Rebels.
