    Rangers earn first win in over a year

    SENATOBIA— Northwest Mississippi Community College erased a 14-point deficit in the second half to win its first dame in more than a calendar year with a 45-31 victory over Itawamba Community College on Saturday at Bobby Franklin Field. (September 21, 2014, Page 5B)

      Former Northwest CC offensive lineman Hawkins signs with Cowboys

      DALLAS — What a whirlwind week it has been for former Ranger and NJCAA First Team All-American left tackle Donald Hawkins. It’s one that could change his life forever.  Hawkins, who played the 2010-11 seasons at Northwest Community College and the 2012-13 seasons for the Texas Longhorns, was released by the Philadelphia Eagles, picked up and waived by the Cleveland Browns and then received the news he was headed to play for the Dallas Cowboys – all in a week. (September 2, 2014, Page 8)

            Devils’ Phillips taking experience to NWCC
