    • Pauline Cormier — 88, died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2011, at the Tunica County Nursing Home. A private service will be held at a later date. Wells Funeral Home of Batesville is in charge of arrangements.
    • Michael Edward O’Halloran — 45, died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Gautier. Coleman Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.
    • Edwin C. Newman Jr. — 71, died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2011, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. Services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Waller Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in College Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held for two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.

Burial will follow in Oxford Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Second Missionary Baptist Church. Kenneth I.       • Teresa Ellis Shade — 62, died Sunday, Feb. 6, 2011, at her residence in Stem, N.C. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Waller Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Services will be held at 2 this afternoon at Wells Funeral Home Chapel in Batesville. Burial will follow at Longtown Cemetery in Crenshaw. Visitation will be held for two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.

            • Walter Earl McClellan — 74, of Coffeeville died Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011, at his residence. Services will be held Sunday at Garner-Harper Funeral Home Chapel in Grenada. Burial followed at Coffeeville Cemetery.
            • Helen Vaughn Purser — 79, died on Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011, at her home in Water Valley. Services were held this morning in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley. Burial will follow in the Owens Cemetery in Abbeville.
            • Tommie L. Shelby — 69, died Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Tallatchie-Oxford Missionary Baptist Association building. Burial will follow in the Oxford Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the East Providence M.B. Church. Hodges-Freeman Funeral Home of Oxford is in charge of arrangements.
            • Joseph Evans Woodward Jr. — died Friday, Feb. 4, 2011. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Apostles Episcopal Church on Wolf River Boulevard. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 this evening at Memphis Funeral Home.
            • Gabriel Norris Wright — newborn son of Victoria Renee Jones and Norris Ray Wright Jr., died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. Graveside services were held Saturday at Forrest Memorial Park.

              • Gabriel Norris Wright — newborn son of Victoria Renee Jones and Norris Ray Wright Jr., died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. Graveside services were held Saturday at Forrest Memorial Park, with the Rev. Douglas Tutor officiating.

                • Betty Jean Marion — 69, died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011, at Grenada Lake Medical Center in Grenada. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Zion Springs Baptist Church in Calhoun County, with the Rev. Tommy Daniels officiating. Burial will follow in the Zion Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the church. Seven Oaks Funeral Home of Water Valley is in charge of arrangements.
                • Tommie Lee Shelby — 69, died Thursday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. Arrangements are incomplete with Hodges-Freeman Funeral Home of Oxford.
                • Lena Mae Stone — 96, died Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011, at Church Street Personal Care Home in Ecru. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Waller Funeral Home, with the Rev. Adam Vinson officiating. Burial will follow in Christian Rest Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 4 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
                • M. Craig Warren — 34, died Saturday, Jan. 29, 2011, at his home in Springboro, Ohio. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Pontotoc, with ministers Marcus Coward and Bill Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Sand Springs Cemetery.                     • Virginia J. Kesler — 74, died today at her home in Oxford. Arrangements are incomplete with Waller Funeral Home.
                    • Jacqueline Anne “Reeh” Smith — 68, of Memphis died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2011, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Kate Freeman Clark Art Gallery in Holly Springs and immediately be followed by a memorial service and celebration of her life. Memorial service and burial will be at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church and Holy Cross Cemetery in her hometown of Blair, Neb., at a later date.                     • Velma Williams — 68, died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Delay Baptist Church Cemetery in Water Valley. Visitation will be 30 minutes prior to the service.
