  • Caroline DeSaussure “Dessie” Anderson Caulfield — 94, of Water Valley died Monday, March 28, 2011, at her home. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Presbyterian Church of Water Valley. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley.
  • Sarah Lloyd — 96, died Monday at Tri-Lakes Medical Center in Batesville. Arrangements are incomplete with Kenneth I. Roberson Funeral Home of Sardis.

    • Bentley Baker Crawford — 87, died Friday, March 25, 2011, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the First Presbyterian Church in Oxford. Burial will be held at 3 in the Odd Fellows Rest Cemetery in Aberdeen. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford is in charge of arrangements.
    • Randale Johnson — 38, of Oxford died Friday at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Arrangements are incomplete with Serenity-Martin Funeral Home of Oxford.
    • Kermit Frazier Shotts — 63, died Tuesday, March 22, 2011, in Olive Branch. A private family service was held at the University of Mississippi Chapel. Brantley Funeral Home of Olive Branch was in charge of arrangements.
    • Sallie H. Sledge — 78, died Sunday, March 27, 2011, at Primacy Healthcare & Rehab Center in Memphis. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Coleman Funeral Home Chapel in Oxford. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery on Highway 6 East outside of Oxford. Visitation will be held for three hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
    • Samuel Swinney — 83, died Tuesday, March 22, 2011, in Tulsa. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Rose Hill Memorial Park in Tulsa. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Reynolds Funeral Service in Tulsa.
    • Mary Nina Walton — 77, died Friday, March 25, 2011, at Landmark of DeSoto Care Center in Horn Lake. Services were held Sunday in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley. Burial followed in the Broadstreet Cedar Grove Cemetery in Yalobusha County.

      • Edward Dean Walker — 87, died Thursday, March 24, 2011, at Darlington Oaks Hospice in Verona. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Springdale Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday from 10 until 11 a.m. at Waller Funeral Home of Oxford.

        • Dan Phillips — 83, died Wednesday, March 23, 2011, at Montfort Jones Memorial Hospital. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel in Kosciusko. Burial will follow in the Parkway Cemetery. Visitation will be held for two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
        • Misty Anderson Weaver — 38, died Tuesday, March 22, 2011, at The Med in Memphis. Services will be held at 2 this afternoon at Wells Funeral Home Chapel in Batesville. Visitation will begin one hour prior to service at the funeral home.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Coleman Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Harrisonville MB Church Cemetery on Highway 6 West. Visitation will be held for two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
          • Q.T. Hardin Smith — 84, died Tuesday, March, 22, 2011, at her home in Etta. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Christian Rest United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Christian Rest Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 until 7 p.m. at Waller Funeral Home and again for one hour prior to the service at the church.
          • Earnestine “Teen” Pearson Williams — 75, died Wednesday, March 16, 2011. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at East St. Peters M.B. Church in Oxford. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Serenity-Martin Funeral Chapel in Oxford, with family present from 4:30 to 7.

              • Howard M. Bishop — 80,  of Stevensville, Md., died in Annapolis on Saturday, March 19, 2011. Services will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at Lasting Tributes Cremation and Funeral Care P.A. in Annapolis. A memorial gathering will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to services.  A memorial service and burial will be held in Oxford at a future date.
              • George Edwin Denley — 95, died Thursday, March 17, 2011. Services were held Sunday at the First Baptist Church Coffeeville with the Rev. Truman Scarborough and the Rev. Donnie Stewart officiating. Burial followed in the Coffeeville Cemetery. Garner-Harper Funeral Home of Coffeeville was in charge of arrangements.
              • Guinn Leroy “G. L.” Tatum — died Thursday, March 17, 2011, at his residence. Services were held Sunday at the Union West Baptist Church, with Bro. Billy Childs officiating. Burial followed in Orwood Cemetery. Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley was in charge of arrangements.
              • Dorothy Ann Tidwell — 68, died Friday, March 18, 2011, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. Services will be held at 2 this afternoon in the Coleman Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. David Bishop officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held for two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
              • Janie Lee McCullar Toole — 97, died Friday, March 18, 2011, at Tri-Lakes Medical Center. Services were held Sunday at the Oakland Methodist Church, with the Rev. Clay Baker and the Rev. Martin Case officiating. Burial followed at Enid Oak Hill Cemetery. Wells Funeral Home of Batesville was in charge of arrangements.
              • Tracie Lynn Edwards Webb — 50, died Saturday March 19, 2011, at Graceland Nursing Home in Oxford. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville. There will be no visitation prior to services. Wells Funeral Home of Batesville is in charge of arrangements.
