  • Thomas Henry “Tom” Freeland IV — 59, died Saturday at Ochsner Medical Center in Kenner, La. Arrangements are incomplete with Waller Funeral Home in Oxford.
  • James W. “Jim” Strauser — 77, died Saturday, Feb. 14, 2015, at Valley Baptist Hospital in Harlingen, Texas. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Wells Funeral Home Chapel in Batesville, with burial to follow in Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 this evening at the funeral home.
  • James Henry Pascoe — 79, died Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Waller Funeral Home in Oxford. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

    • William Brown Jr. — 63, died Monday, Feb. 16, 2015, at Methodist Hospital in Olive Branch. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Clear Creek M.B. Church, with the Rev. Eddie Goliday officiating. Burial will follow in Oxford Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the church. Hodges Funeral Home in Oxford is in charge of arrangements.
    • Willie “Hop” Delbridge — 70, died Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2015, at his niece’s residence in Oxford. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Philadelphia M.B. Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Hodges Funeral Home in Oxford, with family hour from 5 to 6.
    • Services for Shy’ Garria Hervey, 10, of Water Valley, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Springhill North MB Church in Water Valley. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 this evening at the church. Townes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    • Tyler Allen Monteith, 21, died Wednesday in Teton County, Wyoming. Arrangements are incomplete with Waller Funeral Home in Oxford.

McCormick — 82 died on Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2015, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Bruce. Burial will follow in Bruce Cemetery. Visitation will be held for three hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
      • Wilma Kathryn “Maw” Melton Morrow — 89, died Monday, Feb. 16, 2015, at the home of her daughter in Oxford. Services will be held at noon Saturday at New Hope Baptist Church in Coffeeville.
