  • Mary Allene Miles Faust — 87, died Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2011, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Waller Funeral Home in Oxford, with the Rev. Ron Provence officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation will be held for two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
  • Rebecca Mooneyham — 38, died Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2011, at Yalobusha General Hospital in Water Valley. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Old Union Baptist Church in Lafayette County. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the church. Seven Oaks Funeral Home of Water Valley is in charge of arrangements.
  • Judy Ann Harwell-Woods — 50, died Monday, Dec. 5, 2011. Services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Clear Creek M.B. Church. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Church Cemetery in Etta. Visitation will be held Friday from 1 to 6:30 p.m. at the Serenity-Martin Funeral Home in Oxford, with family present from 5 to 6:30.

    • James Bland — 87, died Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2011, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Waller Funeral Home in Oxford. Burial will follow in Old Union Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 this evening at the funeral home.

      • Melvin Atkins “Bubba” Brewer — 55, died Monday, Dec. 05, 2011, at his home in Water Valley. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, followed by graveside services at Dividing Ridge Cemetery in Yalobusha County. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday and an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
      • Harold Thesley Lovelady — 82, died Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011, at his home in Water Valley. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of the Waller Funeral Home in Oxford. Burial will follow in Pine Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held for an hour and a half prior to the service at the funeral home.
      • Janie Louella Chandler McCullar — 88, died Sunday, Dec. 4, 2011, at Yalobusha General Nursing Home in Water Valley. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley. Burial will follow in the Sylva Rena Cemetery in Yalobusha County. Visitation will be held for two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
      • Pearlie Mae Washington-Herrod — 100, died Thursday, Dec. 1, 2011, at Graceland Care Center in Oxford. Services will be held at noon Wednesday at the Greater St. John M.B. Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Hodges-Freeman Funeral Home of Oxford is in charge of arrangements.

        • Robert Warren “Bob” Dixon — 53, died Friday at his home in Oxford. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Coleman Funeral Home Chapel of Oxford.
        • Mary Louise Harris — 93, died Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011, at her residence. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held for an hour and a half prior to the service at the church. Riles Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
        • Judy Ann Harwell-Woods — 50, of Oxford died this morning at Baptist-Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi. Arrangements are incomplete with Serenity-Martin Funeral Home of Oxford.
        • Pearlie Mae Herod — 100, died Thursday at Graceland Care Center. Arrangements are incomplete with Hodges-Freeman Funeral Home.
        • Lorieta Mogford Joslin — 94, died Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Waller Funeral Home of Oxford. Burial will follow in Oxford Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held for an hour and half prior to the service at the funeral home.
        • Harold T. Lovelady — 82, died Saturday at his home in Water Valley. Arrangements are incomplete with Waller Funeral Home in Oxford.
        • Louis Eugene Traylor — 79, died Thursday, Dec. 1, 2011. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Olive Branch. Burial will follow in the Forest Hill South Cemetery. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the church. Forest Hill South Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

A private family graveside service will follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 4 until 6 p.m. at Waller Funeral Home and for an hour and a half prior to the service at the church.
          • Annie Lucinda Owens — 67, died Saturday, Nov. 26, 2011. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at East St. Peter Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 6:30 this evening at the Serenity-Martin Funeral Home in Oxford, and two hours prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
          • Pearlie Mae Vaughn — 100, died Thursday at Graceland Care Center in Oxford. Arrangements are incomplete with Hodges-Freeman Funeral Home of Oxford.
          • Marie Elaine Williams Woodall — 68, died Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2011, at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 2, 2011 at I.O.O.F. cemetery with Bro. Ronny Miller officiating. There will be no formal visitation. West Oaks Funeral Home of Sulphur Springs is in charge of arrangements.
