  • Thomas Edward “Ed” Davis — 94, died Saturday, May 17, 2014, at Oxford Health and Rehab in Oxford. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at College Hill Presbyterian Church in Oxford. Burial will follow in College Hill Church Cemetery in Oxford. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Waller Funeral Home in Oxford and for one hour prior to the service at the church.
  • C. G. “Cap” Gaston Jr. — 73, died Thursday, May 15, 2014, at his daughter’s home in Calhoun City. Services were held Sunday at Bethlehem Church in Bentley. Tutor Memorial Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
  • Billy Eugene Hester — 67, died Friday, May 16, 2014, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. Services will be held at 2 this afternoon in the chapel of Waller Funeral Home in Oxford. Burial will follow in Oxford Memorial Cemetery in Oxford. Visitation will be held for an hour and half prior to the service.
  • Bobby Gene Montgomery Sr. — 81, died Friday, May 16, 2014, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Waller Funeral Home in Oxford. Visitation will be held for two hours prior to the service.
  • Larry Taylor — 61, died Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. Services will be held at noon Tuesday in the Henry Chapel of the Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley. Burial will follow in the Pine Flat Cemetery in Lafayette County. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

    Billy Eugene Hester — 67, died Friday, May 16, 2014, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. The funeral service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Waller Funeral Home with the Rev. Johnny Flynt officiating. Burial will follow in Oxford Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
