UM construction alters transit routes

        Students march for change

        University of Mississippi students, staff and faculty joined together Tuesday in a march that ended at the very statue that was defiled almost two and half weeks ago. University officials are still deciding what to do with the students who were involved in the James Meredith incident on Feb. 16. (March 5, 2014, Page 1)

            3 students ID’d in racial incident

            The University Police Department has identified three white UM freshman students from Georgia as suspects in the James Meredith incident that occurred early Sunday morning. Charges are being sought against the three students. (February 21, 2014, Page 1A)

              Students gathered at Barnard Observatory last night to discuss possible ways to prevent racial issues at The University of Mississippi.                 25K reward offered in defiling of Meredith statue

                The Ole Miss Alumni Association is offering at $25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the two individuals involved in the defiling of the James Meredith statue on campus. Students on campus are responding with meetings to talk about further prevention of racially charged incidents. (February 18, 2014, Page 1)
