            Campaign signs sprouting up all around Oxford

            Inside the city limits of Oxford, campaign signs are not allowed in the right of way. However, in Lafayette County, as long as the signs are not permanently installed into the ground, they can be in the right of way, as long as they are not blocking line of sight for traffic. (June 28, 2011, Page 1)

              Two nursing home workers arrested in unrelated cases

              A nurse at Graceland Care Center was arrested Monday for allegedly stealing hydrocodone pills and a maintenance worker at Yalobusha County Nursing Home was arrested Monday for allegedly fondling a patient. Both arrests stem from investigations by the Attorney General’s Office Medicaid Fraud Control Department. (June 28, 2011, Page 2)

                OMS principal hired to head LHS

                Patrick Robinson resigned from Oxford School District and was hired by Lafayette School District on Monday. Robinson will be the new principal at LHS. Jeff Clay was hired to become the new principal at OMS. (June 28, 2011, Page 2)
