    Breast cancer support

The Reach for Recovery support group meets the first Monday of each month at Azalea Gardens. Most of the members, about 30, attend the meetings to socialize and receive education through written materials and guest speakers. About five members are “visitors,” who are trained and certified through the American Cancer Society to visit or call new cancer patients. Each meeting begins with a potluck supper. (March 5, 2010, Page 1A)
