Senate bills would merge 6 school districts

Water Valley and Coffeeville school districts have been taken off a bill to consolidate several school districts around the state. Representative Toby Barker said that Yalobusha County schools may be revisited in the future. (February 5, 2014, Page 2)

    Locals named to UM honor rolls

    University of Mississippi students from Lafayette County were recently listed on the UM honor roll. Students were required to have a grade-point average from 3.75 through 4.0 and be full-time, carrying at least 12 semester hours. (February 4, 2014, Page 7)

        LCSD OKs school calendar
