          Moran to step down as WV superintendent

          Less than a year after being hired, Water Valley School District Superintendent Deborah Moran announced her resignation from the position.
          Moran, who replaced Sammy Higdon last June, cited family health issues as the reason she was stepping down. She announced her plans earlier this week. She will officially step down June 30. (March 10, 2011, Page 1)
