Sex ed classes required in 2012
Gov. Haley Barbour recently signed into effect HB 999 which requires schools to teach abstinence or abstinence plus programs at all districts. Oxford and Lafayette will soon be preparing what program they will teach. (April 5, 2011, Page 1B)
Oxford students qualify for state science fair
Students at Oxford schools qualified for the state science competition after the regional fair held March 22 in Oxford. Three Oxford Learning Center students will move on to the state challenge and Della Davidson Elementary received best in show. (March 29, 2011, Page 6)
