OHS 2014 class receives diplomas

      OSD plan for staggered times reviewed

        Furry classmates help students

        The Cedar Wind Dog Club visited the Oxford Learning Center Friday for some animal assisted therapy. The group visits several other organizations as well. (May 20, 2014, Page 5)

          OSD seeks funds for turf projects

          Oxford High’s football field is in line to have artificial turf installed later this year, Charger coach Johnny Hill said. The new surface will cost approximately $650,000 and will replace the field’s natural grass. The turf is part of a $1.3 million project to improve facilities around the Oxford School District. The rest of the money will pay for new turf in the baseball team’s indoor hitting facility and the commons area at Bramlett Elementary School, as well as surfacing a practice field at the new high school, Hill said. (May 14, 2014, Page 1)

            OSD to change bus routes

            The Oxford School District recently voted to approve separating elementary school children from older children with new bus routes. The change will be set forth in August 2014. (May 8, 2014, Page 1)

                OSD to match children with teachers

                The Oxford School District is asking parents to answer a survey about their child to determine which teacher would best suit them. Parents are asked to complete the survey by May 19. (May 7, 2014, Page 1)

                    Smith named OSD’s top parent
