OSD eyes new grad policy

The Oxford School Board approved the first reading of a new early graduation policy. The policy will allow students to also graduate a semester early along with the already approved year early. (March 25, 2014, Page 1)

      OMS announces honor roll for second quarter

      Oxford Middle School recently announced their second quarter honor roll. Students on the principal’s list received all A’s and those on the honor roll received all A’s and B’s. (March 18, 2014, Page 7)

          Oxford High announces second quarter honor roll

          Oxford High School recently announced the students listed on the principal’s list and honor roll for the second nine weeks. Those on the principal’s list received all A’s and those on the honor roll received A’s and B’s. (March 11, 2014, Page 7)

            Robinson named OSD’s top adminstrator

            Oxford Elementary School principal LaTonya Robinson was named administrator of the year for the Oxford district. Robinson will replace principal McLarty at Della Davidson next school year. (March 7, 2014, Page 1A)

                School districts wrestle with later start dates

                The Oxford School Board recently approved their 2014-15 school calendar with changes from the Mississippi legislative decision to start school later. Lafayette may still amend their calendar according to what legislatures decide after session closes. (March 4, 2014, Page 1)

                  OHS musical to be staged at Ford Center
