LES performs annual Christmas play

Lafayette kindergarten students performed their annual play, “Christmas on Candy Cane Lane”, last week. Children told a heart warming story of diversity through different colored candy canes. (December 24, 2013, Page 6)

          Cattlemen beef up education scholarships

          The members of the Lafayette County Cattlemen Association have been busy beefing up their efforts to support education. In recent weeks, the group has fed student athletes at Ole Miss as well as Lafayette County and Oxford high schools. The association recently awarded two scholarships and its members are about to start raising funds for future scholarships. (October 22, 2013, Page 8)
