‘Firebugs’ invade OHS this week

“Firebugs” is not your typical Oxford High School production. The theater group brings a German satire to the stage. Opening Thursday through Saturday, tickets are for sale at the door for $10 for adults and $5 for students. The play will be performed at 7:30 p.m. nightly. (April 13, 2011, Page 1)

    Acclaimed Jazz Trio to perform at Ford Center

      ‘The Ugly Duckling’ comes to the Ford Center

        Mayhem and Misdirection headed to Oxford

        OXFORD TOWN – In an effort to give back to the L-O-U community, Chick-fil-A is sponsoring what is being billed as the “Family event of the year” this Sunday (April 3) at the Oxford Convention Center.           Front Porch Dance set for the Powerhouse

          OXFORD TOWN – A Jackson-based troupe of artists called Front Porch Dance is leading a journey through music and dance this weekend, with a special performance called “thislocation” Saturday night at the Powerhouse Community Arts Center. The group’s Oxford performance is sponsored by the Yoknapatawpha Arts Council and the Mississippi Arts Commission. Doors open at 6:30 and the performance begins at 7:30.
