Mississippi native Hilda Stuart, mother of country music star Marty Stuart, is embarking on her own tour in support of her new photography book, “Choctaw Gardens.” Hilda and the rest of the Stuart family will be at Off Square Books on Wednesday to sign and show off the collection on photographs. Ali Holder, Daniel Thomas Phipps launch new music at Proud Larry’s August 9
OXFORD TOWN – Based out of Austin, Texas, Ali Holder and Daniel Thomas Phipps will be coming through Oxford as a stop on their southeast tour. They’re set for Proud Larry’s next Thursday (Aug. 9) at 9:45 p.m. Both musicians are established in their own right, with their own bands, but they come together on this tour as a singer-songwriter collaborative duo and the results are guaranteed to please any folk/rock/blues/Americana fan. Music in the Hall teams with Bottletree Bakery
OXFORD TOWN – Hallelujah. Oxford’s favorite unique music experience, Music in the Hall, returns in a big way this week by hosting a Gospel Series show at Bottletree Bakery tonight (Thursday, July 26) at 7:30. Doors open at 7 for the show which will feature Anointed Faith Singers and Soul Consoulators.
