Two Stick expands its music schedule

OXFORD TOWN – As a music venue, Two Stick has always been known for variety, for being unpredictable and exploratory. Recently, Two Stick owner Chad Henson instituted a residency program on specific nights of the week so music lovers will know what to expect at the bar on a nightly basis.     Local musician Sky Shelton releases new album

    OXFORD TOWN – Local musician and guitar hero Sky Shelton has recently received tons of accolades for his sizzling guitar work and has just released his first album, “New Sound Old Soul.” Shelton is also set for an album release party at the Lyric Theater on Thursday, Sept. 22, where he’ll share a bill with Drew Chapman and John Milstead. Page 16 in this week’s issue gives you a heads-up about Shelton’s show at the Lyric and a full blown feature planned for next week’s issue of Oxford Town. (September 15, 2011, Page 16)

            Parrish’s hosts Tyler Keith and The Apostles this Saturday night
