Blue Mountain returns to Proud Larry’s

OXFORD TOWN – It’s time to gather your friends and celebrate the Rebels’ win over BYU with Oxford’s favorite alt-country/roots rock band, Blue Mountain, this Saturday night after the game.     Parrish’s hosts Tyler Keith and The Apostles this Saturday night

    OXFORD TOWN – Tyler Keith (pictured) and The Apostles are set to help kick off the school year this Saturday night (Aug. 27) with a free show at one of Oxford and Ole Miss’ favorite bars on the Square, Parrish’s. Indeed, for Annie, Bill and Holly Hollowell, hospitality is their specialty as the working Marshall County ranch offers blues music every Sunday from 5-10 p.m., in a truly unique facility.         Jimbo Mathus – At it again

        OXFORD TOWN – Mississippi native Jimbo Mathus is bringing “catfish music” home after a successful East Coast tour this summer promoting his latest album, “Confederate Buddha.” Mathus and his band, The Tri-State Coalition, are set for Rooster’s Blues House tonight (Thursay, Aug. 11). Oxford Town columnist George Atkins sat down and chatted with the Grammy winner about the show, his new album and the Coalition.           Dex Romweber Duo to perform at Proud Larry’s in support of new album

          OXFORD TOWN – Brother-sister Americana musicians, Dex and Sara Romweber (Romweber Duo), is touring in support of their new album “For Is That You In The Blue?” and they’re headed to Oxford. Catch the popular rockers for a one-night performance at Proud Larry’s next Tuesday (August 26) as they unveil their latest effort for the first time.
