Pride of the South Band hosts fundraising concert at the Ford Center

OXFORD TOWN – The Pride of the South Marching Band featuring the UM Wind Ensemble is hosting a concert fundraiser on April 24, at 7:30 p.m. at the Ford Center. Admission is free but donations will be accepted as this is a major fundraiser for the hardest working band in the south. Gavin DeGraw set for free show in The Grove

OXFORD TOWN – Gavin DeGraw (pictured on the OT cover this week) will hold a concert in The Grove on Friday, April 20, at 8:30 p.m. Nashville country musician Craig Morgan (“Red Neck Yacht Club”) will open the show. Bays Guyer band to perform at Oxford Art Crawl

OXFORD TOWN  – On Tuesday, April 17, two veteran rockabilly, blues and R&B performers — Bud Bays and Kevin Guyer — will debut their new four-piece band during the April edition of the Oxford Art Crawl from 7-9 p.m. at the Powerhouse in Oxford. Elmo & The Shades return to Rooster’s Blues House

Chad Harris releases new EP; set for OLHS fundraiser Friday, April 6 

OXFORD TOWN – While the EP won’t officially be released until May, Oxford will get the first chance to enjoy native son Chad Harris’ new album “Burning Daylight” on Friday, April 6, at the Powerhouse Community Arts Center.
