Bruce Levingston returns to Ole Miss for a night of classical elegance
OXFORD TOWN – Acclaimed pianist and Mississippi native Bruce Levingston returns to the University of Mississippi this week for a concert at Gertrude C. Ford Center for the Performing Arts tonight (Thursday, Feb. 2). The concert, set for 7, also features renowned violinist Colin Jacobsen and the Brooklyn Rider String Quartet. OXFORD TOWN – The Oxford Art Crawl begins its 2012 season this Tuesday (Jan. 24). The ongoing event will be held the fourth Tuesday of each month from January through October, lasting from 7-9 p.m. The “crawl” events are free and offer tours of the rotating exhibits at Oxford’s art spaces with small receptions held at each stop.
