Weekend events include artists, authors and SEC baseball

Read about what’s going on in Oxford this weekend. Activities range from artists at Bozarts in Water Valley to a free Black History concert to local musicians and their whereabouts to a Paint the Town Glow Party.” Tickets are also still available for the Secret Show, held at 7 p.m. Friday.     Young Buffalo celebrates release of ‘House’ with show at The Lyric tonight

    With nearly a decade under their belts of playing together and recording songs, Jim Barrett and Ben Yarbrough finally have a full LP in Young Buffalo’s “House.”

      Hannah remembered with vinyl release for Record Store Day

      The End of All Music — Oxford’s only local independent record store — is releasing “Barry Hannah: I have no idea what tradition I’m in.                     Keen pays tribute to bluegrass influence with latest album, tour

                    Robert Earl Keen returns to The Lyric for a show tonight (Feb. 19). Bonnie Bishop will open the show around 8. Keen is touring in support of his latest album, “Happy Prisoner: The Bluegrass Sessions,” an album of bluegrass covers, giving fans a listen to what shaped Keen as a singer, songwriter and musician.
