Legendary musician Marshall Chapman plays Thacker Mountain Radio next Thursday

OXFORD TOWN – Nashville singer/songwriter Marshall Chapman will be in town next week (Thursday, Nov. 4) for a performance on Thacker Mountain Radio at Off Square Books. The legendary musician will not only be one of the featured musical guests, she’ll also be reading from and signing her new book “They Came To Nashville.” Page 11 in this week’s issue of Oxford Town has Mitch Morgan’s interview with Chapman as she prepares for her visit to Oxford.       Muscian/Singer/Songwriter Jennifer Niceley hits Oxford

      OXFORD TOWN – Jennifer Niceley is a busy girl around Oxford this week. With a scheduled appearance at Thacker Mountain Radio today (Thursday, Sept. 30), the indie/pop musician from Tennessee will also perform at the Lyric Theater’s Red Star Bar at 12:15 p.m. on Friday for a very special lunchtime show. Niceley and her band (Jason Goforth/pedal steel and Jonathon Estes/bass) will perform until 12:45. Turn to Page 5 and 7 of this week’s edition of Oxford Town and read about Niceley and her band as they hang out in Oxford for a couple of days. (September 30, 2010, Page 5, 7)
