          Sullivan has decision to make

          Charley Sullivan didn’t think he’d have much of a decision to make. As it turns out, he does.

              LHP Reed selected 46th overall by Royals

              Just a couple of years ago Cody Reed was a crafty left-hander at Horn Lake High who showed some projectability because of his frame.

              Thursday, the Ole Miss signee and Northwest Mississippi Community Ranger was selected 46th overall in the 2013 Major League Baseball First-Year Players Draft by the Kansas City Royals.

                Kendricks wins NCAA pole vault

                EUGENE, Ore. — Ole Miss sophomore Sam Kendricks captured a national title in the men’s pole vault at the 2013 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships Wednesday night.

                With his winning clearance of 18 feet, 8.25 inches, the former Oxford High standout and Oxford native became the first person in school history to win an NCAA title in the pole vault.  (more…) (June 6, 2013, Page 6)
