Rebels drop close match to No. 2 OSU
After dropping a tough doubles point, the No. 18 Ole Miss men’s tennis team fought back against No. 2 Ohio State, but in the end the Rebels’ efforts in the six singles matches fell short as the Buckeyes claimed a 4-2 victory at the Palmer/Salloum Tennis Center on Wednesday (April 15, 2010, Page 6)

Crouse gets nod for No. 18 Ole Miss vs. Tigers
The No. 18 Ole Miss baseball team will head north tonight to play its annual game against the Memphis Tigers at AutoZone Park, home of the Memphis Redbirds.
The Tigers (14-18 overall) enter tonight’s game having dropped their first Conference-USA series of the season to East Carolina this past weekend. (April 13, 2010, Page 2B)
Weight loss crucial for Washington’s future success
The majority of Ole Miss’ spring football practices can be summed up in two words — dominant defense.
Lately, however, the offense has been fighting back.
If the offensive line is going to continue to progress, it’s going to need junior left guard Alex “Tank” Washington to fill in for some of the departed veterans.
More specifically, though, it’s going to need Washington, who currently tips the scale at 350 pounds, to shed some weight. (April 13, 2010, Page 2B)

For the sixth week in a row, the No. 17 Ole Miss Rebels were unable to close out a weekend series on a high note, falling to the Georgia Bulldogs 6-3 at Foley Field on Sunday.

OM’s Snyder fine after being hit by pitch
During Saturday’s 4-3 Ole Miss victory in 13 innings, Rebel designated hitter Matt Snyder was hit in the side of the head by a wild pitch from Alex McRee and was taken to the hospital. Following the game, Ole Miss coach Mike Bianco said Snyder’s CAT scan came back negative and that he expected the sophomore to be OK. (April 12, 2010, Page 1B)
