Yarbrough lifts Rebs to win again
The Ole Miss baseball team hasn’t run out of its firepower. Two days after completing a three-game sweep of the reigning National Champion LSU Tigers, the Rebels scored 11 runs on 20 hits to defeat the Murray State Thoroughbreds 11-10 at Oxford-University Stadium. (April 28, 2010, Page 6)

Rebels keep finding ways to win games
COLUMN — Life doesn’t always go as planned.
In fact, more often than not our road from Point A to point B is filled with unforeseen detours.

Rebels rally late to win game, earn sweep
As Kevin Mort’s fly ball bounced into left field, and Taylor Hightower trotted safely home, LSU outfielder Leon Landry didn’t budge from his position. The damage had been done. The No. 27 Ole Miss Rebels had just completed a three-game sweep of the reigning national champion LSU Tigers, coming from behind to beat their Southeastern Conference West rival 7-6 at Oxford-University Stadium on Sunday. Snyder OK after being bumped in celebration
Immediately following Ole Miss’ walk-off win on Sunday the Rebels had a bit of a scare when the often-injured Matt Snyder was bumped during the celebration.
As the players flooded onto the field following Kevin Mort’s walk-off single, Snyder ended up at the bottom of the dogpile.
Snyder, who has twice had his shoulder dislocated during games, had to be helped off the field — albeit only momentarily — before joining the team in left field for their post-game talk. (April 26, 2010, Page 2B)

In Game 2 the Ole Miss Rebels rallied from an early 5-0 deficit to defeat the LSU Tigers 9-8 in 11 innings.

Rebels win slug-fest in Game 1 vs. LSU
Game 1 of the Ole Miss-LSU baseball series had been billed as the must-see pitching matchup of the year. What it turned out to be, however, was a slug-fest.
Ole Miss was able to collect four home runs en route to an 11-9 victory over the No. 6 Tigers in at Oxford-University Stadium on Saturday. (more…) (April 24, 2010)
