County spreads safety signals
Eleven additional sirens are being installed in the county beginning today with plans to obtain more if a grant goes through this year for Lafayette County. New county board gets busy
The Lafayette County Board of Supervisors met on Tuesday to make several changes to past board decisions including dropping the drug court appeal and rescinding a vote to hold $4.5 M aside for a multipurpose building. The board also approved to meet twice a month, the first Monday at 9 a.m. and third monday at 5 p.m. Jeff Busby was also elected president and Robert Blackmon vice-president.
