      • W. B. Tallie — 53, died Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2014, at his home in Oxford. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at The Orchard Church in Oxford. Burial will follow be in the Rock Hill MB Church Cemetery in Oxford. Visitation will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. Friday at Coleman Funeral Home in Oxford.

          • Dr. Frank Thaddeus “Dr. Frank” “Catfish” Marascalco — 91, died Monday, Dec. 1, 2014, in Clarksdale. Services will be held at noon Thursday at St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church in Clarksdale. Burial will follow in Oakridge Cemetery.               Christmas parade postponed until Tuesday

              The Oxford Lions Christmas Parade, originally scheduled for this (Monday) evening, has been postponed until Tuesday evening due to the rain. All other details about the parade remain the same. The parade is now scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Mid-Town Shopping Center. (December 1, 2014)
