  • Claud Springer Beeler Jr. — 76, died Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015, at his home. Services will be held at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 12 at Yalobusha Primitive Baptist Church in Water Valley. Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford is in charge of arrangements.
  • Thelma King Thweatt — 74, died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2015, at her home near Oxford. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Calvary Baptist Church in Oxford. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the church. Coleman Funeral Home in Oxford is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be held for two hours prior to the service sat the funeral home.
      • Michael Wayne Wilkins — 50, died Friday, Jan. 30, 2015, at Oktibbeha County Hospital in Starkville. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Cooley’s Mortuary Chapel in Batesville. Burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery in Water Valley. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Visitation will be held for two hours prior to the service at the church. A private family graveside service will be held at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Waller Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
        • Dorothy Ann Jaco Martin — 60, died Thursday, Jan. 29, 2015, at her home in Tillatoba. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Goshen Chapel, located on the grounds of Goshen Cemetery in Coffeeville. Seven Oaks Funeral Home of Water Valley is in charge of arrangements.
        • John H. Mason — 65, died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015, at the Mississippi State Veterans Home in Oxford. Services were held Friday at the Serenity Autry Funeral Home Chapel in Pontotoc.
