  • Linda H. Cadden — 70, died Monday, June 13, 2011, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Services will be held at 4 this afternoon at the First Baptist Church in Amory. Burial will follow in Masonic Cemetery. The E.E. Pickle Funeral Home of Amory is in charge of arrangements.
  • Melvin Jackson Chandler Sr. — 79, died Tuesday, June 14, 2011, at the Yalobusha General Hospital in Water Valley. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Seven Oaks Funeral Home of Water Valley is in charge of arrangements.
  • Paula Page — 68, died Tuesday, June 14, 2011, in Zurich, Switzerland. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford is in charge of arrangements.
  • Louise Sherrill Triplette — 92, died Tuesday, June 14, 2011, at Carillon Assisted Living in Newton, N.C. Services will be held at 5 p.m. Friday at Grace Chapel United Methodist Church in Granite Falls. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held for an hour and forty-five minutes prior to the service in the church’s fellowship hall. Pendry’s Funeral home of Lenoir, N.C., is in charge of arrangements.

    • Ronald Bernard “Ronnie” Burt Sr. — 48, died Friday, June 10, 2011. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the TOMB Association Building in Oxford, with the Rev. Adam Tyson officiating. Burial will follow in the Oxford Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the Serenity-Martin Funeral Chapel, with family present from 5 to 6:30.
    • Mary Louise Sprouse Jones — 74, died Saturday, June 11, 2011, at Sanctuary Hospice in Tupelo. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, with the Rev. William Stevenson officiating.
