      County OK’s budget

      The Lafayette County Board of Supervisors approved the 2105 general budget and tax levy for the county. The tax levy did not change from last year and the budget expenditures passed with a four to one vote. (September 16, 2014, Page 1)

        Privacy hard to find in county jail

        The Lafayette County Board of Supervisors recently approved the county jail to implement video chat for inmates and their attorneys. However, the board was told to hold off on implementation as the federal government might foot the bill for the services. (September 15, 2014, Page 1)
