    LHS driving funds for band

              County raises solid waste fees

              The Lafayette County Board of Supervisors voted to raised solid waste fees by $2 for residential and 10 percent for commercial properties. The fees will begin on October 1st. (September 3, 2014, Page 1)

                Chamber hosts blood drive in honor of Hunt family

                The Oxford-Lafayette Chamber of Commerce will host a blood drive on Sept. 4 with Mississippi Blood Services in honor of Beth Hunt who was struck and severely injured in the Wal-Mart parking lot on July 13th. (September 1, 2014, Page 3)

                  Hollowell dedicates birthday to her furry friends

                  Everyday Hero Morgan Hollowell dedicated her eighth birthday to the animals at the Oxford-Lafayette County animal shelter instead of receiving presents for herself.
