The VFW will host karaoke singing and dancing every Friday night at the Veterans Building across from the State Veterans Home. Doors open at 6 and singing and dancing starts at 7. Use one of their disks or bring your own. Food and drinks available. Admission is $5. The public is invited. (January 28, 2011)

                    Musicians tune up The Tone Room

                    Owning a commercial recording studio seemed to happen by coincidence for local musician David Kincaid.
                    Kincaid, who has been in the music scene for about 20 years, began collecting studio equipment a few years ago in an attempt to record some of his own tracks, but now he, along with producer/engineer Bryan Ward, is helping others reach their dreams in music at The Tone Room recording studio located at 1420 N. Lamar Blvd., Suite 102. (December 27, 2010, Page 8)
