Oxford is on the move

Oxford is on the move as one of the fastest growing cities in the South and its quality of life is getting better every day in accord.
That’s why we are telling the stories today with the magazine inserted in the newspaper and distributed around town of people making a difference in our community.
We enjoyed compiling Oxford on the Move because it gave us a chance to dig deeper into Oxford, Lafayette County and Ole Miss and find stories of people who are doing something special here.
One consistency you will find is that everyone featured loves this community uses deep dedication to the work they do to make it better.
Some, like Lafayette County Board of Supervisors President Jeff Busby, are lifelong residents of the community. Others, like Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi administrator and CEO Bill Henning, have come here on a large and worthy mission.
Individually, their stories are interesting. Collectively, they are captivating because they reveal how our hamlet in the hills of North Mississippi is becoming a world-class community that is a wonderful place to call home.
We celebrate that Oxford is a vibrant community on the move and give thanks to the many who make it happen.
