Sheriff’s Department arrests 3 for murder

The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department has made three arrests in the shooting death of University of Mississippi graduate student.
According to Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department Investigator Alan Wilburn the three men were on and off again students at the University of Mississippi and lived next door to the victim, Zacharias Herculese McClendon of Gulfport. Wilburn said the motive was robbery.
Charged with capitol murder are: Steven Matthew Wilbanks, 22, of North Carolina; Derrick Boone, 23 of Laurel and Joseph Lyons, 20, of Houston, Texas.

      The friends of Zach are all stunned that someone would kill such a sweet and honest guy. He would have given these guys what they wanted. They did not have to kill him.
