3 charged in shooting denied bond

A Lafayette County Justice Court judge denied bond for the three young men charged with capital murder Thursday in the shooting death of graduate student Zacharias Herculese McClendon of Gulfport. (December 20, 2013, Page 1A, 3A)

      Is there an update on this story? Did they go to the grad jury yet? is there a trial date?

      Grand Jury meets Feb. 12-14.

      They were recently indicted on the murder and grand theft charges and are awaiting trial.

      Any update on the case? Trial started I assume?

      Any update on this case? What happened to these guys, there’s not news anywhere.

      They’re in the court system just awaiting trial. This is a court term month so we will be checking the files soon. Other than some bond hearings, not much else has moved on this case.
