County weighs vicious dog law

The Lafayette County Board of Supervisors will be seeking help from the Oxford-Lafayette Humane Society to help enforce a proposed vicious dog ordinance. (November 5, 2013, Page 1, 16)

      My sister was running in a neighborhood last week when a pit bull attacked her and her dog. When the police arrived, it was mentioned that there were 4 reports on that dog that day, and still nothing has been done. She usually runs with her small children in a stroller. If she had that particular day, they could be dead! The owners of the dog dont’ seem to think it’s a big deal. There must be a law.
