Auburn holds on to top Rebels

The inaugural matchup between the two friends turned foes went to Malzahn Saturday night as Auburn rode the legs of quarterback Nick Marshall and a dominant outing from its defensive front to defeat Freeze’s 24th-ranked Ole Miss Rebels 30-22 in front of a crowd of 86,504 at Jordan-Hare Stadium. (October 7, 2013, Page 1B)
