Former Lafayette High standout Jeremy Liggins was back at his position Thursday night, quarterback. The Ole Miss pledge led the Northeast Mississippi Community College Tigers to a 34-21 win over NWCC in Senatobia Thursday night.
Liggins, who started the season at defensive end, accounted for almost 200 yards and three touchdowns in the victory for the Tigers, who moved to 2-0 in the MACJC North Division. Here is an interview with Liggins following the win. For more on the game, see today’s print edition of the EAGLE.
