Ole Miss football coach Hugh Freeze couldn’t remember the last time he was shutout. The last time the Rebels were held without a point, Tommy Tuberville was the man calling the plays.
The No. 21 Rebels were defeated 25-0 by No. 1 Alabama Saturday night at Bryant-Denny Stadium due to an inability to move the ball on first down and too many simple mistakes made, according to Freeze, quarterback Bo Wallace and wide receiver Donte Moncrief. Ole Miss came into Saturday night’s game averaging 490 total yards but were held to just 205 by the stingy Crimson Tide.
Here is a portion of Freeze’s press conference following the loss.
