Woody Hamilton has slowly, but surely, been making progress as a defensive tackle. The Ole Miss sophomore from Raleigh is currently running with the first team thanks to a very good offseason and much better attitude, according to coach Hugh Freeze.
“I’m just getting better everyday for my teammates. Since last year dealing with the injury and everything, my progress has been major even though I had a minor injury with hamstring,” said the 6-foot-3, 300-pounder. “I’m back full (strength). I guess you could say that my body is getting adjusted to the speed of how everything is going. I’m just looking to be a major player on this team.”
The way the first three full days of practice have gone, it appears that Hamilton will be a major force inside for the Rebels.
