OM’s Brunetti involved in May incident with OPD

Current Ole Miss quarterback Barry Brunetti and former Ole Miss player Randall Mackey were arrested in May following an auto accident, according to The Commercial Appeal.

Brunetti, a Memphis native who is currently listed as the No. 2 quarterback on Ole Miss’ depth chart heading into the upcoming season, was charged with misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, while Mackey was arrested and charged with misdemeanor simple assault after reportedly shoving a police officer during the May 10 incident.

Mackey was booked at the Lafayette County Detention Center at 2:10 a.m. and released at 8:45 a.m.
