Messy yards may result in ticket

Homeowners in Oxford will soon need to take extra care to make sure their lawns are tidy as the Oxford Police Department prepares to take over city code enforcement. OPD presented its FY 2013-14 to the Board of Aldermen Wednesday which included the addition of the new officer as well as eight new patrol cars, lapel cameras and AR-15 rifles.       Nice to know and so reassuring of the Lawn Patrol of Oxford. Do properly maintained lawns receive extra credit?
