Airline service takes off in Oxford

Panama City and Destin, Fla., and New Orleans will seem a little closer to Oxford by the end of June. That’s because Southern Airways Express, a Memphis-based air carrier serving eight cities in the Southeast, will begin flying in and out of Oxford.
The company will launch flights to and from Destin and Panama City on June 20, and then add flights to and from New Orleans by the end of June out of the University-Oxford Airport (June 13, 2013, Page 1A)
