Sullivan, Tide can’t rally from early deficit

VIDEO BLOG: Alabama gave up three runs in the first and couldn’t rally to knock off No. 2 LSU Wednesday, falling 3-0.

Former Oxford Charger Charley Sullivan was hit with the loss despite pitching very well.

The Alabama senior allowed all three runs on eight hits and two walks while also striking out three in eight innings.

With the loss the Tide will play Ole Miss in the elimination game Thursday at 9:30 a.m. with former Madison Central standout Spencer Turnbull (4-3, 3.61) on the mound.
