No. 18 OM aids Wildcats with wild throws

It looked like the No. 18 Rebels were going to beat both the impending thunderstorms and the Kentucky Wildcats early Saturday.

But like the storm, Ole Miss’ offense never materialized into anything consistent and the ‘Cats claimed a 5-4 victory at Oxford-University Stadium to take the series, 2-1.

Ole Miss led off Saturday’s game with two base hits but only mustered one run on a sacrifice fly from catcher Stuart Turner against UK southpaw Corey Littrell.
