Dores finish fourth in Olive Branch

Lafayette’s trip to Olive Branch for the District 2-4A golf tournament produced mixed results for the Commodores. The tournament was held at Wedgewood and LHS finished with a team score of 400, good for fourth place.

Lewisburg won the event with a 314. New Albany shot a 361 to finish second, while Cleveland was third with a 391.

The Commodores were led by Joseph Taylor’s 88. Mikeljon White (103), Chris Long (103), Justin Nail (106) and Devon Thomas rounded out the rest of team scores. The medalist Monday was awarded to Trait Darby of Lewisburg, who finished with a 72. (April 16, 2013, Page 9)
