Lafayette falls at Lewisburg

The Lafayette baseball team fell at Lewisburg 12-2 on Thursday.

The Patriots scored in all six innings to run rule the Commodores. Eli Murphree, Joseph Taylor and Michael Hudgins led Lafayette with two hits, while D.K. Buford had two walks. T.J. Hollis was hit with the loss after allowing seven runs (six earned) in 1.1 innings. Ryan Holland allowed four runs in 3.2 innings and Jake McPhail allowed one run in .2 of an inning.

Lafayette (11-5 overall) returns to the diamond today against Center Hill at noon.
